Question for HVAC Solicitation

Question:

Should service calls be factored into the price of comprehensive services?

If so, is the estimated amount listed in the solicitation?

Answer:

Service calls should be factored into the cost of comprehensive services.

We do not currently have estimations for the amount required.

Here’s the numbers I’ve collected for “Non-routine” maintenance usage the past few years. It’s not all inclusive and, as you can see, it varies a lot per building.

Note: The information shared below is only an estimate based on past performance. There are no available records for this information. All information was gathered from facility manager recollections.

CLIN 5, Building 614 – 2 unscheduled maintenance calls in the last 2 years

CLIN 3, Building 653 – 2 unscheduled maintenance calls in the last 3 years

CLIN 2, Building 1358 – 1 unscheduled maintenance call/year

CLIN 1, Building 68 – 5 per year
