a4 "1. We did not see it in the requirements and wanted to veri$ that these stands are not requiring sliders?"
l. In accordance with the solicitation, all platforms/stands must have protective padding/rubberized bumper. Sliders are not specified as a requirement in the solicitation to allow for a greater range of choices for vendors in meeting specifications. Stands must conform to the solicitation by meeting or exceeding the acceptability standards set forth in the specifications. Whether or not this requirement is met by sliders or an option other than sliders is the choice of the vendor, as long as all stands have protective padding/rubberized bumper to prevent damage to aircraft where stand contact/possible contact may occur at any point on the airframe.
