About this file

This document is a set of Questions and Answers (Q&A) for a Department of the Air Force Space Command solicitation (FA255025Q0016) for a security camera system upgrade at Schriever SFB, Colorado. The Q&A covers 40 detailed inquiries from potential contractors regarding specific installation requirements, including camera placement, mounting, cable and conduit specifications, system compatibility, and training expectations. Key technical details include: cameras will be installed at heights ranging from 30-40 ft indoors to 50 ft outdoors, require metal conduit for new cables, must be NDAA compliant, and will need at least three personnel trained on system operation. Additional requirements include a minimum one-year warranty, upgradeable video management software (VMS) licenses, and the ability to transfer licenses to new hardware if needed. The government will provide Civil Engineering Floor Plans and expects contractors to have at least three years of past performance at the prime contractor level.
