About this file
This is a Questions and Answers document that clarifies key requirements for Air Force Space Command's Group Aerobics Instructors BPA solicitation (FA252126QB037) at Patrick Space Force Base Fitness Center. The solicitation seeks to establish a Blanket Purchase Agreement for up to 500 group aerobic classes per contract year, with an anticipated service start date of October 1, 2026. The document addresses four critical clarifications: (1) the maximum class capacity shall not exceed 500 classes per contract year, with the 50-100 quantity breakouts for each of seven class types being estimates rather than firm requirements; (2) instructors must possess current national certification appropriate to the specific fitness discipline being taught, with cycling-specific certification required only for cycling classes; (3) the $100,000 liability insurance requirement applies directly to subcontractors, with Patrick SFB not requiring additional insured status; and (4) services are scheduled to commence October 1, 2026. The BPA structure allows authorized Government Purchase Card users to request services as needed, though the agreement does not obligate the Government to any minimum level of orders.

Text version
1. PWS paragraph 1(a) states that the requirement shall not exceed 500 classes per contract year, but the subsequent breakout provides 50-100 classes for each of seven class types, which could result in up to 700 classes per year. Please clarify the maximum number of classes that may be ordered per contract year & whether the 50-100 quantities are estimates or firm requirements.
a. Shall not exceed 500 classes/year per breakout class type. The quantities are estimates
2. PWS paragraph 2(a) states that instructors must possess a current national certification "in cycling" while the requirement encompasses multiple fitness disciplines. Please clarify whether cycling- specific certification is required for all instructors or whether certification appropriate to the specific class being taught is acceptable?
a. The cycling specific certification is only required for instructors who are teaching cycling. The same logic applies to all classes.
3. Does the $100,000 liability insurance requirement apply directly to our subcontractor(s), and would Patrick SFB need to be named as an additional insured?
a. Yes, it applies directly to the subcontractors. Patrick SFB does not need to be named as an additional insured.
4. What is the anticipated start date for services?
a. 1 Oct. 2026
