Questions and Answers
1. Question: “Is this RFP a new requirement (first time release on FBO) or is there an incumbent currently servicing the Audio - Visual equipment detailed in the SOW.”
Answer: There is an incumbent.
2. Question: “If this is not a new requirement, can you provide the last year / years call volume activity, both Critical and Non-critical.”

3. Question: “As there is a window for contractor "ramp up" would the Government accept the commitment from the offerer to get any additional / supplemental OEM training on items that are similar brand. For example, a projector from Epson we have maintained is a similar offering to the Sanyo Projectors in the RFQ, would the Government consider this equivalent as the functions / operations are the same and allow the contractor to receive any “differences training” during the ramp up period?”
Answer: Support is to be immediate and contractor is to have sufficient knowledge to complete repairs required as stated in the PWS.
4. Question: “Will the Government allow a contractor to respond to a “critical” request and relocate an assets listed as “non-critical”. In general, under the RFP, the Government has many identical assets listed in both the “critical and Non-critical” assets. For example:
Video Camcorder Canon
XF305
262100000332 Critical Video Camcorder Canon
XF305
262120000068 YL
Non-Critical
As these parts are identical, can a contractor responding to a “critical" request move an identical "Non- Critical” assets? The assets then would be repaired as a non-critical item in order to ensure that priority is maintained on the critical item resolution?”
Answer: In the case of duplicate items we would not identify these as critical unless all items were in use and we could not use another item if one failed. Additionally, for an item to be identified as critical the absence of that item would constitute a negative impact on the mission and/or an inability to fulfill the mission.
5. Question: “Section 1.2 says critical shall be repaired within 72 hours of receipt of replacement parts and replacement parts shall be ordered with 48 hours of the failure. Does this mean we get more time to repair if the parts take two weeks to arrive?"
Answer: Alternative/temporary solutions shall e implemented by the contractor if repair will take more than 72 hours.
