About this file
This is a Request for Information (RFI) document for solicitation F3YTAK6021A001 regarding an RFID tracking system for an armory. The document consists of six clarification questions and answers outlining the specific requirements for the system.
The requirement calls for 1,000 RFID tags and 513 QR code barcodes to support asset tracking operations. The system will include two tracking stations designated for issues and turn-ins, with all tracking activities occurring within the armory itself rather than at windows or doors. The government has clarified that no RFID-triggered alarm capability at exit points is required, and the system is designed for a single armory facility only with no expansion to additional armories or separate Air Force Research and Development operations tracking needs. No live alert functionality for R&D and Test and Evaluation tools is required.
