About this file

This document is a Request for Information (RFI) Part II for Solicitation F3YTAK6021A001 containing three clarifications regarding the scope and requirements of the solicitation.

The RFI addresses three key areas: (1) the scope of "lifetime support," which is clarified to include security patches, minor releases, and upgrades throughout the product's lifecycle, excluding major upgrades and support beyond product end-of-life; (2) the licensing model, specifying that only licensed users—not tracked personnel—will be counted, with 552 IPE personnel (9 people) designated as licensed users; and (3) permissible implementation activities despite prohibitions on custom software development, with WASP, Smart Rack, and WSA identified as allowable implementations. These clarifications establish parameters for contractor responses regarding software support commitments, user licensing requirements, and implementation scope boundaries.
