Text version

Amendment #2 dated February 8, 2018 on RRP F18SOL10008 for an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (“IDIQ”) Contract for audiovisual engineering, integration, implementation, programming, maintenance, and support services changes the submission requirements and extends the deadline for submissions.

A.1. This solicitation’s minimum requirement has been scaled back to the following, offerors must have had a minimum of FIVE years of engineering, installing and supporting audiovisual systems in large and major museums, visitor centers and/or educational institutions.

A.2. L.5.2 F. The Business Proposal has been revised to remove the requirement for the audited financial statements. The section shall now read as follows:

F. Financial Statements Offerors shall submit their most recent financial statements including the Balance Sheet, Statement of Income, Statement of Cash Flows, and notes to the financial statements. Financial statements must be for the company submitting a Proposal, not the parent company, unless a guarantee of the subsidiary’s obligations is provided. Failure to submit the financial statements may result in the disqualification of your proposal because a determination of financial responsibility can NOT be made without this information.

A.3. It is not a requirement that firms submitting proposals must provide services in both Washington DC and New York. The Smithsonian will accept proposals from firms who are only willing to work in one location.

B. The proposal due date has been extended to the following: PROPOSALS MUST BE RECEIVED VIA EMAIL NO LATER THAN March 6, 2018 9:00 am EST. The email response should be submitted to Debra Berke, Contracting Specialist at berked@si.edu. Make sure to receive acknowledgement via email to know that your proposal has been received by the Smithsonian Institution and was not rejected due to the 18 mb size limit of the incoming mail server.

Provided that the electronic copy is received at the above email address by the above stated deadline, the hard copy should be received no later than March 13, 2018 9:00 am EST.

C. With the exception of the changes made herein, all contract terms and conditions of F18SOL10008 remain in effect.
