Please indicate if there will be any Telecomm demolition and if so, who will be responsible to perform this work? Owner or Contractor.
A note will be added to sheets TND 001, TND101, TND 102, TND
103, TND 104, and TN 002 stating that the Owner is to remove all ITS cabling, switches, WAPs, OSP, and other associated hardware in the Bird House facility and at the North site that is to be salvaged or reused. Contractor will be responsible for demolition of any remaining IT-related wiring, conduit or equipment back to the lower level termination point at grid coordinate “SC-N8”. This includes faceplate, jack, cable, and terminal block. Updated drawings with these notes will be provided to the successful bidder.

128 Room 021 Hand Rearing and 022 Incubation have card readers, but room 009 Sick Bird does not. Is a card reader required on room 009?
Access control systems, including card readers and associated equipment, are not required on any of the doors for rooms 009, 021, or 022. These doors will be keyed only. Updated drawings
TY101, TY611, and TY701 will be provided to the successful bidder.
129 Spec 051200, 2.9A states the Owner is hiring the QC for Structural
Steel. Is this correct?
This is not correct. Per specification section 014000 "Quality
Requirements", 1.15 QUALITY CONTROL, all testing and inspection services are the Contractor's responsibility, even for tests explicity assigned to Owner in the drawings or specifications.
130 Is Commissioning the responsibility of the owner or contractor? Commissioning will be performed by the Owner.
131 Drawing A002 ½” x ½”is called out for various wire mesh stainless steel doors. Per Jeff Smith of Corners Limited he only supplies 1”x 1” stainless steel doors. Please advise.
"HOLDING C" CAGES 5-7 (PARROT STRENGTH) call for 1/2" x 1/2" stainless steel mesh for the doors and partitions as noted on A-
421 and A-437. 1" x 1" stainless steel mesh is acceptable in lieu of 1/2" x 1/2" stainless steel mesh for these three cages since
1/2" x 1/2" stainless steel mesh is not available from the Basis of
Design. All other caging mesh is to be Galvanized After Welding
(GAW) and the mesh size as noted in the construction documents.
