About this file
This document is a Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) for a Dry-Dock Dust Collector Project (Project #283-340). The CDRL specifies a Data Item No. B001 for Nondestructive Testing, with a specific focus on Pad Eyes Certification/NDT Report. The document requires the contractor to provide a signed certification of compliance for lifting points/padeyes, including a load test at 125% to 130% and a Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) report showing magnetic particle or liquid penetrant examination of each load-bearing weld. If pull testing is not feasible, the contractor must provide engineering calculations by a Professional Engineer and Magnetic Particle Testing certification for each padeye. The distribution is authorized to DoD and DoD contractors only, with administration and operations effective 2/7/2025, and documentation to be delivered after contract award but before equipment delivery.

Block 12 – Documentation shall be delivered after contract award, but before delivery of the equipment.
Crane Lifting Point/Padeye Certification and Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Report - Concurrent with delivery of the equipment, the contractor shall provide a signed, written certification of compliance to the lifting points/padeyes load test and NDT testing requirements as outlined in this specification. The lifting points/padeyes certification statement shall include that all lifting pads have been designed in accordance with design criteria of per Process Instruction No. 611-400-026B, Appendix 1, and that each lifting point/padeye has successfully passed a 125% to 130% load test. The NDT report shall show the results of the magnetic particle or liquid penetrant examination of each load bearing weld of the lifting point/padeye. Failure to provide the satisfactory load test certification and the NDT report could result in rejection of this equipment, because of failure to comply with the terms of the contract.
OR
If the pull testing of the lifting padeyes is not feasible, the engineering calculations (Performed by a Professional Engineer, P.E.), and the Magnetic Particle Testing (MT) certification papers of “each” padeye shall be provided in lieu of the load/proof testing.

a. Group I. Definition - Data which is not otherwise essential to the contractor's performance of the primary contracted effort (production, development, testing, and administration) but which is required by DD Form 1423.
Estimated Price - Costs to be included under Group I are those applicable to preparing and assembling the data item in conformance with Government requirements, and the administration and other expenses related to reproducing and delivering such data items to the Government.
b. Group II.
