About this file
This Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) outlines technical data items required under a future Navy contract for an ADU-978/E TJS Handling Skid Adapter. The CDRL requires submission of a First Article Test/Inspection Procedures and Report to Naval Air Warfare Center Lakehurst detailing dimensional specifications, material certifications, fit, form and function evaluations, and other testing for one sample unit. The report must include PCA, NDI, QA certifications and be delivered electronically and with each unit. Any unsatisfactory units must be retested until approved. Approved units will count towards production quantities. The CDRL identifies Naval Air Warfare Center Lakehurst as the requiring office and lists required deliverables, submission dates and points of contact for the technical data.

c. Fit, Form, Function and Interface evaluation.
d. Other testing as deemed necessary by the government (i.e. Non-Destructive Inspection of welds, visual acceptance inspections, etc.).
Upon completion of FAT, the government will notify the contracting officer, and contractor, of the conditional approval, approval, or disapproval of First Article Test assets. The First Article Test will be approved pending successful completion of the Physical Configuration Audit.
A First Article Test report shall be provided to NAVAIR Lakehurst and shall include, but not be limited by, the following: PCA, NDI & QA Certifications of Conformance. QA Certifications shall be provided in hard copy form and shipped with each unit delivered to the government. These certs will also be provided in electronic format to NAVAIR LKE Engineering (Gregory Wesley).
An unsatisfactory First Article Test asset will be returned to the contractor, noted discrepancies corrected and then returned to the government for re-evaluation, prior to approval of any production lot run. Should the contractor begin a production lot run of an unapproved asset, it will be at the contractor’s own expense and risk. Approved government units will be a part of the overall LOT/ITEM production quantity total.
