File Summary
This file is an exhibit containing maps for the City of Orlando's grounds maintenance services RFP27-0052. The maps depict the geographic locations and boundaries of the 108 maintenance zones throughout Orlando where the contractor will perform grounds maintenance services on city easements, rights-of-way, and brick streets. The scope of work includes mowing, blowing, trimming, litter removal, landscape maintenance, roadside herbicide spraying, pruning, trash and debris removal, clipping, and fence line trimming across all designated zones. All work must be completed Monday through Friday, excluding nine city holidays, between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. local time. The contract term is thirty-six months from execution with two optional twelve-month renewal periods available, for a total potential contract duration of sixty months.
The contractor must accept all maintenance sites in their existing "as is condition" at contract execution and is responsible for obtaining all required permits, licenses, and certifications. Compensation is based on the contractor's proposal with prices remaining firm throughout the contract term unless modified through written addendum for authorized extra work. The contractor must maintain comprehensive insurance coverage including Workers' Compensation, Comprehensive Automobile Liability, and Commercial General Liability with minimum limits of $1 million combined single limit per occurrence, naming the City of Orlando as an additional insured. Liquidated damages are assessed at $250 per calendar day for failure to complete work within specified timeframes, and the City reserves the right to terminate for default or convenience with appropriate notice.
