About this file

This is a Work Report Sheet for grounds maintenance services for the City of Orlando's Easements, Right-of-Ways, and Brick Streets under RFP27-0052, administered by the Procurement and Contracts Division. The form serves as a documentation tool for tracking maintenance activities across dispersed service locations throughout Orlando, Florida. The Work Report Sheet includes fields for recording location details, map identification numbers, service dates, mowing cycles, litter removal activities, and contractor comments. Bidders are required to account for the 108 geographically dispersed maintenance zones encompassing mowing, blowing, trimming, litter removal, landscape maintenance, roadside herbicide spraying, pruning, trash and debris removal, clipping, and fence line trimming. All work must be performed Monday through Friday, excluding nine designated city holidays, between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. local time. The contract term is thirty-six months from execution with two optional twelve-month renewal periods available for a potential cumulative total of sixty months.

Compensation is based on the contractor's proposal, with pricing remaining firm for the contract duration unless adjusted through written addendum for authorized extra work. The contractor must maintain comprehensive insurance coverage including Workers' Compensation, Comprehensive Automobile Liability, and Commercial General Liability with minimum limits of $1 million combined single limit per occurrence, and must name the City as an additional insured. Liquidated damages are assessed at $250 per calendar day for failure to complete work within specified timeframes. Contractors must accept all sites in their existing "as is" condition at contract execution and are responsible for obtaining all required permits, licenses, and certifications. Invoices are payable within thirty days of receipt and approval by the using department, with payment obligations subject to City Council appropriation for succeeding fiscal periods.
