SUBJECT: USAF Letter Request for Order Proposal (LRFOP)
Contract No. FA8213-XX-D-XXXX
1. In accordance with Fair Opportunity Ordering Procedures, in the subject contract, we are requesting pricing proposals from your company for use in a potential order award.
2. Ordering procedures are as follows: The USAF is seeking to procure BBU Impulse Cartridges. The cost of all shipping materials is to be included in the pricing of each requirement. The award criteria will follow the Competitive Defined Split Award process outlined in the basic ordering clause.
Please complete the embedded, Total Evaluated Price Worksheet – BBU-XX” for submitting your pricing information. The completed and submitted Total Evaluated Price Worksheet will be used to evaluate these requirements. Each contractor shall propose unit pricing on the given quantity ranges. The Government will then follow the guidelines for split award under the Fair Opportunity Ordering Procedures. Contractors are reminded that in the event that the Government determines a contractor’s price unreasonable, the Government will follow the guidelines stated in the basic award.
A timely electronic copy is sufficient.
3. Delivery: NTE 30 Days ARO award for CLIN 0001AA, 180 Days ARO award for CLIN 0001AB, 210 Days ARO award for CLIN 0001AC and 12 Months ARO First Article Approval for CLIN 0002.
4. Ship To: As per Delivery Order
5. Proposal due date: IAW the solicitation due date. Contractor proposed prices shall be valid for 120 days after proposal due date.
6. IAW Awarding Orders Under Multiple Award Contracts, paragraph (d) of the basic contract, all proposed prices will be evaluated for “reasonableness”. The Government considers historical prices paid for the BBU-XX Impulse Cartridges to be the basis for establishing a reasonableness standard and will adjusting for inflation. Any proposed prices exceeding the Government standard for reasonableness will be further scrutinized and subject to action IAW with the basic contract ordering procedures.
7. All attachments of the basic contract are applicable to this requirement.
