About this file
This document is a FAQ (Questions & Answers) for RFP 2404-001 for Professional Legislative Services issued by Central Health, a Travis County hospital district in Texas. The RFP is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide legislative and agency consulting services for Central Health and its affiliates, in accordance with applicable federal and state laws. The RFP covers the City of Austin and Travis County jurisdictions. The FAQ addresses various questions related to the incumbent vendor, prevailing wage requirements, budget, HUB/MBE/WBE requirements, proposal formatting, contract award timeline, and technical issues with the BidNet platform.
The FAQ indicates that Central Health does not disclose budget information upfront, and proposers are required to provide their own proposed pricing. Central Health practices a Good Faith Effort for HUB/MBE/WBE participation, and non-HUB vendors can participate in the solicitation. The contract is expected to be awarded around the proposal expiration date, and all proposers will be formally notified of the solicitation status once a determination is made.
