About this file

This document is an addendum to a Request for Proposal (RFP) issued by the Texas Juvenile Justice Department (TJJD) for a Juvenile Offender Telephone and Tablet System (JOTTS). The RFP seeks an offeror to provide youth telephone services at ten (10) facilities across the state with the latest hardware and software capabilities. The addendum revises the schedule of events, including the deadline for submitting questions and the deadline for submitting responses, which has been extended to August 23, 2022. The addendum also provides detailed instructions for response submissions, requiring respondents to provide information on their company, technical approach, pricing, references, and any exceptions or assumptions.

The evaluation criteria focus on the respondent's understanding of the project, proposed solution, deliverables, and project management plan, with a total of 100 possible points. The cost component accounts for 20 points of the evaluation. The RFP is open to all qualified vendors, and there is no mention of any set-aside or incumbent. The funding source and requirements are not specified in the addendum.
