About this file
This is an Addendum Number 2 to Invitation to Bid 04-TSUATH-ITB-0023 issued by the State of Texas for Professional Fireworks Display Services. The addendum clarifies the scope of services required for a fireworks display at a football game venue. The project requires a crew of seven or more pyrotechnic technicians to manage five action points, with personnel on-site four hours prior to kickoff and remaining through the conclusion of the game and fan departure. Services include crew load-in, setup, and load-out operations on the day of the event. The technical specifications call for four smoke splitters on a sled with six flame units mounted on a truss at minimum six feet height to envelope the team during player runout, generators to power all action points, and pyrotechnic displays at ten rooftop locations for multiple game events including player runout, national anthem, eight touchdowns, and postgame victory show. The pyrotechnic displays at rooftop locations are specified to fire for 45 to 60 seconds during player runout and multiple times during the national anthem in red, white, and blue colors. A typical game is projected to utilize approximately 200 mines and 500 comets.
The addendum does not specify pricing terms, contract duration, award dates, or other financial and administrative details in the content provided. No information regarding set-asides, incumbent contractors, site visit requirements, or bidders' conference details is included in this addendum clarification document.
