About this file
This is a Pricing Schedule for a state and local contract opportunity involving the Texas Military Department (TMD) for the Dyess Air Force Reserve Center (AFRC) Chiller Replacement project (TMD26-CFMO-0045092). The project encompasses building construction, electrical work, and HVAC services for a non-residential office building. The scope of work includes six primary deliverables: removal and disposal of the existing chiller system; furnishing and installation of a temporary chiller system to maintain facility operations during construction; furnishing and installation of a new air-cooled chiller system with all associated equipment; replacement of damaged chilled water piping, insulation, supports, and mechanical components; electrical work including controls, reconnections, programming, startup, testing, balancing, and commissioning; and mobilization, permits, closeout documentation, training, cleanup, and all remaining work necessary for a complete and operational system. All items are quoted as lump sum line items, with contractors responsible for providing a complete, turnkey project including all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, permits, bonds, insurance, testing, commissioning, overhead, profit, and incidentals.
Award will be made to the most responsive and responsible bidder offering the lowest price based on the base bid and all options, with the Texas Military Department reserving the right to award all, none, or any sequence of bid alternates contingent upon the availability of funds. The contractor must estimate project completion within a specified number of calendar days following the Notice to Proceed. Bidders are required to submit any pricing amount assumptions for each deliverable in a designated Pricing Assumptions table. Award is contingent upon the availability of State and/or Federal funding. The contract will be evaluated and awarded based on best value for the state as directed by Texas Government Code Section 2155.074.
