Solicitation Title: Emergency Generator Maintenance, testing and repairs for the Texas Center for Infectious Disease located in San Antonio, TX.

Solicitation Number: HHS0017222

# Reference Question Response

1.

Are we to combine the pricing for both generators in the sections that ask for the first 6 sections? Or is there an option to price them individually. For instance, the first section is asking for total price of 12 load tests, but the total would be 24 considering there are 2 generators.

Yes, 12 per generator.

2.

Can you please clarify the Annual Fuel Quality Test to ASTM Standards? What specific requirements are you needing.

The specific ASTM standards to be used for fuel quality testing may vary depending on the type of fuel and its intended use. However, ASTM D975, which outlines specifications for diesel fuel oils, is commonly referenced. This standard includes various test methods to evaluate fuel quality, including assessments for microbial contamination, free water, and sediment

3.

Do you have a detailed SOW for what you are requiring for the Monthly Transfer Switch Services?

NFPA 110 – Transfer Switch Requirements

4.

Can you clarify what size (kW) generator you are asking for pricing on for the section “What is your hourly rate to rent a generator while one is being repaired?

5.

Exhibit F – Statement of Work – III Scope of Work (SOW) – page 1 and page 2:

Section A and Section D seem to be the same thing. Can you please advise on the difference between them?

These two items also reflect on the first and fourth lines of Exhibit C – Price Sheet.

No difference

6.

Exhibit F – Statement of Work – III Scope of Work (SOW) – page 2:

Section F – Preventive Maintenance (PM) explains details of what is included on an annual basis (change oil, filters, inspection of items).

Will there be a request for three (3) Quarterly Inspection Routines (without oil & filter change) in addition to the Annual Service Routine?

That type of service is not outlined within the Scope of Work.

Once annually

7.

Exhibit F – Statement of Work – III Scope of Work (SOW) Does Health and Human Services want to have Annual Preventive Maintenance (PM) performed on any or all the existing Transfer Switches?

That type of service is not outlined within the Scope of Work.

Yes. All transfer switches within the facility associated to the generator.
