About this file
This is a cost proposal form for a state and local contract opportunity in Texas related to providing rehabilitation supplies for vocational rehabilitation (VR) customers. The solicitation encompasses a comprehensive range of assistive devices and supplies organized under multiple NIGP (National Institute of Governmental Purchasing) classes and item codes, including braille and tactile measuring equipment, low vision aids, writing implements and guides, braille paper and labeling materials, and miscellaneous specialized equipment for individuals with visual impairments and disabilities. The contract covers an initial term with optional renewal periods, and bidders must submit pricing for all line items within any NIGP class they elect to bid on, along with percentage discounts for miscellaneous items within those classes. The solicitation includes 33 line items distributed across six primary NIGP classes (195-12, 470-64, 470-78, 470-00, 600-35, 615-18, 785-17) plus a miscellaneous rehabilitation supplies category.
Pricing for this contract must be submitted using percentage discounts applied to the bidder's current catalog list prices as of the solicitation opening date, with net prices calculated after discount application and inclusive of all statewide delivery costs under FOB Destination terms. Bidders must provide manufacturer or catalog part numbers, units of measure, catalog list prices, and applicable percentage discounts for each line item, with the net price formula calculated automatically once discounts are entered. Bidders may only bid on the miscellaneous rehabilitation supplies line item (line 33) if they have bid on at least one complete NIGP class and item code. All pricing must address the full requirements listed in each line item description, with shipping, handling, delivery fees, and fuel surcharges included in the net price submitted to ensure statewide availability throughout the contract period.
