About this file

This is an attachment to a request for proposal for field scientist positions in Texas. The document serves as a qualifications template that bidders must complete to demonstrate the suitability of proposed field scientists for air quality and emissions monitoring work. Prospective field scientists must provide educational credentials including high school diploma or GED, associate or bachelor's degree information, and relevant certifications or training related to air quality and emissions monitoring. Bidders are required to document the certifications obtained, the awarding entities, and expiration dates where applicable. The submission requires documentation of work experience demonstrating successful field services involving the maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of sampling equipment in both field and laboratory settings. Applicants must detail between one and three projects, with each project description not exceeding 500 words, describing the role performed, work types, equipment used, sampling frequency, and safety protocols followed while collecting and handling air quality samples in accordance with EPA protocols.

The qualifications attachment specifies that project experience sections must outline the field scientist's role and specific actions taken during past work that contributed to successful project completion, with each project description limited to 250 words or one page. Bidders must provide current employer information, project names, project locations with city, county, and state designations, and client contact information including email and phone numbers. The template indicates that up to three projects may be submitted to demonstrate relevant experience. No pricing, set-asides, or contract term information is contained within this qualifications template, as it functions solely as a standardized format for evaluating personnel qualifications.
