About this file
This is Addendum 2 to Request for Proposal 04-TARLTON-RFP-0015 issued by Tarleton State University, a member of The Texas A&M University System, regarding Management of Campus Sponsorships, Digital Advertising and Athletics Multimedia Rights. The addendum provides technical specifications and clarifications for the baseball scoreboard and arena LED signage infrastructure. The baseball scoreboard has overall dimensions of 12 feet high by 42 feet wide, with an upper black section measuring 4 feet high by 28 feet wide and individual advertisement panels of 3 feet high by 7 feet wide each. The purple scoreboard section measures 8 feet high by 28 feet wide. Electrical power is available at the scoreboard location, though data connectivity is positioned behind the center field wall rather than at the scoreboard structure itself. Control of the scoreboard currently operates through a physical controller located in the Baseball Operations suite with no centralized control system in place. For arena LED arm stanchion signs, one 20-amp circuit is available at each basket with limited ethernet or fiber options on the ends. The addendum confirms that no fundraising campaign for a new baseball videoboard has commenced. The revised proposal submission deadline is 2:00 PM Central Time on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, with an approximate award date of April 1, 2026, and an expected contract start date of June 1, 2026.
The addendum does not contain pricing terms, set-aside requirements, incumbent information, or specific funding details, as these elements are addressed in the primary RFP documentation. The technical specifications provided in this addendum are intended to clarify infrastructure capabilities and limitations for vendors preparing proposals to manage the university's athletics and campus-wide digital advertising operations. The information regarding electrical and data connectivity constraints is critical for bidders to accurately assess capital investment requirements and implementation feasibility for digital signage and multimedia solutions.
