About this file
This document is a Request for Proposal (RFP) 25-37 Pricing Attachment for a Pilot-Scale Chromatography System issued by San Jacinto College. The solicitation seeks one (1) refurbished or new Cytiva AKTA Ready Gradient Pilot-scale Chromatography System, or a compatible alternate manufactured no earlier than 2017. The equipment must be capable of handling a 60L batch size in a single operation, with flow rates between 5-55 l/hr, and include a comprehensive package involving the chromatography system, computer with preloaded software, initial one-year warranty, training, delivery, and installation/calibration.
The pricing attachment outlines detailed technical specifications for the chromatography system, including requirements for sanitary design, metallic wetted parts (SS 316L), compatibility with 100 mm diameter columns, and specific instrumentation features such as UV measurement, conductivity and pH measurements, and safety interlocks. The vendor must provide a 24-month manufacturer's warranty covering call-out costs, parts, and labor, along with comprehensive on-site training that includes familiarization, applications training, health and safety briefings, method setup, and data analysis. The system is expected to be powered by 100-120V at 50/60 Hz, with preferred models including Cytiva AKTA Ready, Repligen ARTeSYN, and Sigma-Aldrich Mobius Chrom 2.
