About this file
This document is a Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) and Answers document for a Request for Proposal (RFP) issued by Central Health, located in Austin, Texas. The document provides critical information for potential bidders, including details about proposal submission, vendor requirements, and key procedural aspects of the solicitation. While the specific service or product being sought is not explicitly detailed, the document covers various administrative and compliance topics relevant to the procurement process.
The FAQ reveals several important details: Central Health practices a Good Faith Effort for Minority/Women-owned Business Enterprise (MBE/WBE) participation, and there is an existing incumbent for the service. The organization requires proposers to submit their own proposed budget rather than disclosing a predetermined budget. There is a living wage requirement from the City of Austin, and vendors are encouraged to research local wage ordinances. Proposals must be submitted through BidNet, with potential in-person drop-off arrangements available. Both HUB-certified and non-HUB vendors can participate in the solicitation, and proposers should note that resumes and supplemental materials count against the page limit for submissions. Awards are generally made around the proposal expiration date, with all proposers to be formally notified of the solicitation status.
