About this file
This document is a Solicitation Addendum for an Invitation for Bids (IFB No. 608-24-96172) issued by the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles (TxDMV) for Court Reporting and Transcription Services. The addendum, dated 08/12/2024, provides clarification to potential bidders and includes responses to vendor questions. The solicitation allows for both in-person and virtual court reporting and transcription services, with TxDMV intending to award the contract to a single bidder providing the best value for the state.
The addendum addresses two key questions from potential vendors: first, whether bidders can bid on only one section of the services (court reporting or transcription), to which TxDMV clarified that all sections of the Attachment E Pricing Sheet must be completed; and second, whether services can be performed remotely, with the response indicating that both in-person and virtual meeting options are available. Vendors are required to sign and return the addendum with their response, with a warning that failure to submit the signed document may result in disqualification. The sole point of contact for this solicitation is Matthew Windham, who can be reached at matthew.windham@txdmv.gov.

# Question TxDMV Response
Attachment A - Addendum 1: Questions and Answers IFB No. 608-24-96172 Court Reporting and Transcription Services
Since court reporting and transcription are separated on the pricing sheet (attachment E), does that allow for bidding on only one section and not both?
Complete all sections of Attachment E Pricing Sheet.
TxDMV intends to make an award to a single Bidder providing the best value for the State. See IFB 608-24- 96172 Section A.8.5 Award Approach.
Both. Meetings can be in-person or virtual. In-person meetings will require the vendor to be on-site while virtual meetings may allow services to be performed remotely. See Attachment D Statement of Work, Section 2.1 Description of Deliverables/Specifications.
Is this for onsite or could it be done remotely?
