About this file
This is Addendum No. 2 to Invitation for Bids (IFB 608-24-96172B) issued by the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles (TxDMV) for Court Reporting and Transcription Services. The addendum provides responses to vendor questions regarding various aspects of the solicitation, including ADA compliance requirements, meeting frequency (30-35 meetings annually), and scheduling details. The document confirms that some meetings will be held in-person while others will be virtual, though exact percentages are not specified. A kickoff meeting may be scheduled after contract award, and the agency will provide advance notice of meeting locations for in-person work.
The addendum addresses several operational requirements, including HUB subcontracting requirements under Texas Administrative Code § 20.284, which mandates good faith efforts to utilize HUBs for services contracts. Vendors must refer to multiple attachments (C, D, and E) for specific details regarding insurance requirements, travel expenses within and beyond 75 miles of Travis County, audio-visual equipment specifications, and subcontractor pre-approval processes. The document requires vendor acknowledgment through signature and emphasizes that failure to submit the signed addendum may result in bid disqualification.
