About this file
This is Addendum No. 1 to Invitation for Bids (IFB) No. 608-24-96172 issued by the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles (TxDMV) Finance and Operations Division - Purchasing Section for Court Reporting and Transcription Services. The addendum is dated August 12, 2024, and provides responses to vendor questions through Attachment A. The document requires respondent acknowledgment through signature and must be returned with the bid response, with failure to submit potentially resulting in disqualification.
The addendum clarifies two key points through the Q&A section: First, bidders must complete all sections of Attachment E Pricing Sheet as TxDMV intends to make a single award to the bidder providing best value for the State. Second, the services can be performed both on-site and remotely, with in-person meetings requiring the vendor to be present on-site while virtual meetings may allow for remote service delivery, as specified in Attachment D Statement of Work, Section 2.1.

# Question TxDMV Response
Attachment A - Addendum 1: Questions and Answers IFB No. 608-24-96172 Court Reporting and Transcription Services
Since court reporting and transcription are separated on the pricing sheet (attachment E), does that allow for bidding on only one section and not both?
Complete all sections of Attachment E Pricing Sheet.
TxDMV intends to make an award to a single Bidder providing the best value for the State. See IFB 608-24- 96172 Section A.8.5 Award Approach.
Both. Meetings can be in-person or virtual. In-person meetings will require the vendor to be on-site while virtual meetings may allow services to be performed remotely. See Attachment D Statement of Work, Section 2.1 Description of Deliverables/Specifications.
Is this for onsite or could it be done remotely?
