About this file
This document is a Statement of Work for a state contract opportunity related to testing services for the Texas Department of Public Safety (TXDPS). The key requirements include: providing a minimum of two testing facilities in each of the six TXDPS regions in Texas, ensuring the testing centers have capabilities such as audio and video recording, encrypted data servers, physical dividers, and the ability to schedule and administer exams electronically. The vendor must also provide an online remote proctoring option and offer reasonable security features to prevent outside assistance. The exams will be electronically scored, and results will be provided to the tester and TXDPS. TXDPS will have the ability to upload and make changes to tests as necessary, and there is no limit on the number of different tests that can be administered.
The pricing for this contract will be on a per-exam basis and must be inclusive of all costs for the testing centers and online remote proctoring. Examinees will pay for the exams using TXDPS-issued procurement cards, and the vendor must have established procedures and systems for collecting and tracking candidate fees. The vendor must also provide an alternate payment system option should TXDPS decide not to pay with credit cards.
