About this file
This is Addendum No. 1 to IFB-25-003 issued by the Texas A&M Forest Service Purchasing Department for Kenwood Multiband Mobile Radios. The addendum clarifies that NMO coax and RF connectors are not required in the bid. It specifies the antenna requirements as a Tram ¼ Wave NMO black spring antenna VHF 132-174 MHz Tunable for VHF and a Motorola style 700/800 short antenna for the 700/800MHz band. The addendum also adds that assembly of the radios should be included, specifically "only what is required to join both radios together and to the control head, i.e. L-5032 Factory Assembly & Factory Packing for Single Head/Dual Deck/Ext Speakers."
Bidders must return a signed and dated copy of this addendum either with their IFB submittal or separately before the bid deadline to avoid potential disqualification. The addendum is dated November 6, 2024, and modifies the original IFB requirements for the procurement of radio equipment for Brazos County, Texas.

“Tram ¼ Wave NMO black spring antenna VHF 132-174 MHz Tunable”
4. The NMO 700/800MHz antenna is specified as:
