About this file
This document is an Addendum to Request for Proposal (RFP) 964 issued by Lone Star College for Voice and Data Communication Cabling Services. The purpose of this RFP is to establish Master Service Agreements with structured cabling vendors for future projects, not for a specific project. The estimated spend over the next 5 years is $5,000,000. Lone Star College has provided responses to several vendor questions, including clarification that this is not a project-based RFP, but rather an RFP to establish future Master Service Agreements. Lone Star College has also provided guidance on pricing structure, including utilizing a per drop rate versus per hour and per drop.
The pricing sheet includes items such as fiber optic cabling, patch panels, patch cords, conduit, grounding, and cable terminations. Lone Star College has specified certain product details, such as the patch panel model number. This RFP does not have any union requirements, and there is no pre-bid sign-in sheet or additional addenda available at this time other than this Addendum No. 1.
