About this file
This document is an addendum to Invitation for Bid (IFB) No. 304T-25-760A1.1 issued by the Statewide Procurement Division (SPD), a division of the Comptroller of Public Accounts (CPA) for the State of Texas. The IFB is for the procurement of Skid Steer Loaders, with a major customer being the Texas Department of Transportation. The addendum extends the response due date from October 21, 2024 to October 25, 2024. It also provides clarification on the acceptable bucket width for the skid steer loaders, confirming that an 84" to 86" bucket is acceptable as an optional item, in addition to the required 80" bucket. Further, the addendum approves the use of an OEM backup camera system that meets the minimum 7" color monitor specification.
Regarding pricing and other terms, the document does not provide details on specific pricing structures, set-asides, incumbent contractors, or funding sources. However, it is clear that this is a statewide contract opportunity for the State of Texas, with the Texas Department of Transportation as a major customer.

Statewide Procurement Division
IFB NO. 304T-25-760A1.1 ADDENDUM NO. 4
CONTRACT SPECIALIST: Hadley Lowery, CTCD, CTCM
PURPOSE OF ADDENDUM
CHANGE RESPONSE DUE DATE:
From: October 21, 2024
To: October 25, 2024
QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS:
Question 1: Our (Model Numbers) machines only need an 80” bucket to cover the width vs. the 84” specified.
Is it possible to bid the bucket which covers the width of the tires/tracks or bid the larger one, 86” in our case, that protrudes wider than necessary?
Answer 1: The 80” width bucket is the standard bucket required in the base specification. The 84” width bucket is the optional bucket. You may bid an 84” to 86” bucket for the optional bucket.
Question 2: What is CPA approved when it comes to the Zone Defense camera or CPA approved? If the camera meets all specifications written and can see in low light or dark as good as the human eye, is that approvable? Zone Defense Company no longer exists but it appears the only difference they had is infra-red. Our machine has a great camera and monitor, and this would add another to the unit. I hope this makes sense.
Answer 2: OEM back up camera system is approved as long as it has a minimum 7” color monitor and meets all other the listed specifications.
