About this file

This document is an addendum to an Invitation for Bid (IFB) issued by the Statewide Procurement Division (SPD), a division of the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts, for Skid Steer Loaders. The addendum extends the response due date from October 7, 2024 to October 21, 2024 and makes several changes to the technical specifications in Attachment G, including adjustments to the lift breakout force, transmission and drive speeds, hydraulic flow rates, and tire requirements for both pneumatic-tired and tracked skid steer loaders. The addendum also provides responses to various questions from potential bidders regarding the submission process, equipment demonstrations, and specific technical requirements.

The IFB is for a statewide contract, with the Texas Department of Transportation being a major customer for these items. The addendum does not provide information on pricing terms, set asides, incumbents, funding sources, or other commercial details. Interested parties must acknowledge receipt of the addendum and include the signed document with their bid response, as failure to do so may result in disqualification.
