About this file
This document is an Addendum to an Invitation for Bids (IFB) issued by the Statewide Procurement Division (SPD), a division of the Comptroller of Public Accounts (CPA) for Skid Steer Loaders. The purpose of this Addendum is to remove the "push force" specification requirements from both the pneumatic-tired and tracked skid steer loaders requested under this solicitation. A major customer for these items is the Texas Department of Transportation. The IFB was originally issued under number 304T-25-760A1.1, and this Addendum No. 2 must be acknowledged and returned with the bid response. Failure to submit the signed Addendum may disqualify the response.
The solicitation does not provide details on pricing terms, set asides, incumbents, funding requirements or sources, or other salient information beyond the technical specification changes outlined in this Addendum. The original contract opportunity details indicate that sealed responses are being requested for Skid Steer Loaders, but no further information is provided on quantities, response due dates, award dates, or contract term and renewal options.

QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS:
Question 1:
I wanted to follow up on the “push force” spec in this solicitation. It is under 2.6 of both the pneumatic tire and track loader. (Company Name) has never published this spec and we have never seen this published by our competitors. We are unsure on how this spec is measured. Specs have an industry standard way of measuring and there is not standard on this one.
How are we supposed to submit a bid if we can’t provide this information. Any guidance would help.
Answer 1:
The “push force” has been removed from the solicitation specifications.
