About this file
This document is an amendment to a Request for Offer (RFO) issued by the Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ) for contract number IW191672. The amendment provides responses to several questions received from potential bidders. The RFO is seeking a vendor to provide specific printer models, with orders to be placed on an as-needed basis for specified quantities. Bidders are instructed to follow the requirements listed in the original solicitation package, and the question deadline is noted as being on page 3 of the solicitation.
The amendment clarifies that TDCJ purchases are exempt from Texas state sales tax, and that bidders must fill out the solicitation package and return it as required. It also states that the solicitation is for the printer models only, and that toner will be purchased separately. No information is provided regarding pricing terms, set asides, incumbents, funding sources, or other salient commercial details.
