About this file
This document is an Addendum #1 from the Office of Procurement Services at Texas Tech University (TTU) regarding RFP 2024-1111 for Promotional Items, Signage, Apparel, and Specialty Items. The addendum addresses questions received from proposers regarding accessing the proposer response form, providing discounted pricing information, and the expected level of detail required for the pricing spreadsheet. TTU clarifies that it is seeking vendors that can provide the products listed in Attachment A and/or other options for promoting TTU, but does not have a desired discount in mind, instead requesting proposers provide their best pricing or discount.
The related state and local contract opportunity is an RFP issued by TTU to provide TTU branded promotional items, signage, apparel, and specialty items, as well as associated design, fabrication, and installation services. TTU intends to award one or more qualified proposers under a supplemental contract to the current RFP 2022-1028. The resulting contract(s) will be non-exclusive, allowing TTU to obtain these products and services from other sources as needed.

FROM: Crystal Leal, Strategic Sourcing Administrator, Office of Procurement Services
SUBJECT: Texas Tech University RFP 2024-1111 Promotional Items, Signage, Apparel, ad Specialty
Items
NOTICE TO ALL PROPOSERS:
The following shall be incorporated into and become a part of the original Contract Documents and Specifications of the above-identified project. You must acknowledge receipt of this Addendum by noting it on your proposal form.
Item #1:
Question 1: How do I get into the proposer form: Is there a link?
Answer: The Proposer Response Form can be accessed under Buyer Attachments. It will provide you a fillable RFP form. If you continue to have trouble, please email crystal.l.l.lopez@ttu.edu
Question 2: The listed items on the spreadsheet ask what % discount but have no details or qty on any of the items listed. These goods are all sold by brand name & details of the product, what is being branded on them, and number of colors and quantity ordered. Without this detailed information, how is anyone to give you costs or a % discount to apply? Quantity and what is being produced will also dictate lead time. Will you provide this information?

Answer: The pricing spreadsheet is asking IF your company would offer a discount to TTU as opposed to what the open public pays. TTU Departments know that the price will fluctuate based on quantities, brand, and printing options/colors.
Question 3: Can you please assist me on this event and what needs to be quoted?
Answer: Please provide your discounted pricing or any discount you will provide on any product listed on the spreadsheet. Not all items are mandatory, just what your company provides.
Question 4: We understand that that you are asking the selected partner to disclose all manufacturers or suppliers used in the product of TTU. Our business has been around since 1968 and we have hundreds of partners across promotional products, branded apparel, and traditional print. We’d love some guidance around what we can provide you for this wide network of partners.
Answer: We are looking for vendors that can provide the products listed in Attachment A and/or other options pertaining to the promotion of TTU.
Question 5: Could you please provide additional information to better understand the desired discount pricing?
Answer: TTU does not have a desired discount in mind. We would prefer that you offer your best pricing or discount you will extend to all departments on TTU campus.
Question 6: Is there a rang you would expect?
Answer: TTU does not expect a specific range, however this will be review upon evaluation of the proposal should you submit one.
