The project location is LBUD Groundwater Treatment Plant, 2950 Redondo Boulevard, Long Beach, California 90806.

The addendum replaces Specification Section 01 10 01 in its entirety with a revised section that details a six-stage work sequence: Stage 1 covers preparation activities including pre-construction meetings, schedule submission, and equipment mobilization; Stage 2 addresses a full plant shutdown for backwash and washwater valve and actuator replacement; Stage 3 covers a south side shutdown for filter effluent throttling valves, air scour valves, and filter-to-waste actuator replacement; Stage 4 addresses individual filter basin shutdowns for waste washwater and filter inlet valve and actuator work; Stage 5 covers structural improvements including crack repairs that do not require plant shutdown; and Stage 6 covers project closeout activities. The contractor is responsible for coordinating all work with LBUD, including electrical disconnections and reconnections, SCADA system reconnections, and scheduling flexibility to accommodate LBUD's operational needs. A signed Addenda Acknowledgement form must accompany all bid submittals. Questions regarding the project should be directed to Kian Nejad at (562) 570-2319 or via email at Kian.Nejad@lbwater.org.
