About this file

This document is rate schedule instructions issued by the City of Detroit, Michigan for emergency professional services related to residential demolition projects. Respondents are required to complete business and contact information and submit unit rates for two primary service categories: Demolition (which includes administration, supervisor, laborer, equipment, regulated and non-regulated material trucking, and asbestos-containing material and construction/demolition material disposal) and Backfill, Grade, and Site Finalization (which includes administration, supervisor, laborer, equipment, backfill material, and topfill material). All highlighted cells in the Professional Rate Schedule must be completed with specific unit rates corresponding to defined unit types. Respondents must provide clarification on any service type by referencing the applicable Scope of Services or contacting the City of Detroit directly.

Rate submissions must contain a single mean (average) per unit of measure and cannot include ranges, qualifying notes, alternate unit types, or blank fields, with the City of Detroit reserving the right to reject incomplete or non-responsive submissions. The City reserves the right to question or request clarification on any submitted unit rate, requiring respondent clarification within twenty-four hours of such request. Completion and submission of the Professional Rate Schedule does not constitute City acceptance of the proposed unit rates. Respondents should refer to the corresponding Scope of Services for detailed definitions and requirements for each service type listed.
