About this file
This document provides instructions from the City of Detroit for completing an Emergency Professional Rate Schedule for demolition and site finalization services. Respondents are required to submit business and contact information and establish unit rates for two primary service categories: Demolition (including administration, supervisor, laborer, equipment, regulated and non-regulated trucking, and asbestos and construction debris disposal) and Backfill, Grade, and Site Finalization (including administration, supervisor, laborer, equipment, backfill material, and topfill material). All highlighted cells on the rate schedule must be completed by respondents, with rates expressed as mean per-unit costs using standard units of measure such as hourly rates.
The City of Detroit will reject submissions that contain rate ranges, qualifying notes, alternate unit types, or blank fields, and reserves the right to request clarification on any submitted unit rate within twenty-four hours. Respondents must provide all rates as fixed mean averages for each service type without conditions or substitutions. Completion of the Professional Rate Schedule does not constitute acceptance by the City of Detroit of the submitted rates, and all respondents should reference the Scope of Services for additional guidance on service type definitions.
