About this file
This document contains instructions from the City of Detroit for completing the Emergency Professional Rate Schedule for an emergency residential demolition project located at 2733 Springwells (Building 102 Rear), also known as 2731 Springwells in Michigan. Respondents must submit pricing for two primary service categories: Demolition services (including administration, supervisor, laborer, equipment, regulated and non-regulated material trucking, and disposal of asbestos-containing and construction/demolition materials) and Backfill, Grade, and Site Finalization services (including administration, supervisor, laborer, equipment, and material costs). The City of Detroit requires respondents to enter dollar values as unit rates corresponding to specific unit types for each service, and all highlighted cells on the Professional Rate Schedule must be completed. Respondents should refer to the Scope of Services for clarification on service types or contact the City of Detroit as directed.
Respondents must provide a single mean (average) unit rate for each service type rather than ranges or alternative unit types. The City of Detroit will consider Professional Rate Sheets incomplete or non-responsive if they contain rate ranges (such as $60.00 to $90.00), notes or qualifying text, alternate unit types (such as monthly instead of hourly or yards instead of tons), or any blank unit rate fields. The City reserves the right to question or request clarification on any submitted unit rate, with respondents required to provide clarification within twenty-four hours of such a request. Completion of the Professional Rate Schedule does not constitute acceptance by the City of Detroit of the submitted unit rates.
