Renew ¾” copper piping and install lagging when piping repairs completed

New Item Water Heater Potable Water Valve Renewal

ABSTRACT

This item describes the renewal of all globe and gate potable isolation valves on both ship’s water heaters with bronze flanged ball valves. Existing valves are 150 psi rated, 4 bolt flanged, brass or bronze with flat- face flanges as noted in the photos of the existing system. New ball valves are to be 150 psi rated- SS ball and Teflon seats with Bronze 4-bolt flat-faced flanges and are to be 2 or 3 piece valves to allow for ease of repair. If threaded valves are to be used supply brass threaded nipples between bronze 4-bolt flat-faced flanges.
