ID PFH 24(10) Davey’s Bridge, Boise National Forest, Boise County, Idaho.

Bids for the construction of this project are being invited under one of two bid schedules, designated A and B. Schedule A and Schedule B are to be considered as alternate bids. Bidders submit either schedule. Award of the contract will be made based upon the lowest bid offered, regardless of bid schedule.

• Schedule A consists of the construction of a 162’3” long by 69’7” wide, 85”precast pre-stressed bulb tee concrete girder bridge with cast-in-place concrete deck.

• Schedule B consists of the construction of a 162’ 3” long by 69’ 7” wide steel girder bridge with cast-in-place concrete deck.

The proposed project includes construction of a bridge with cast-in-place concrete deck;

abutments are founded on 18 x 0.5 foot concrete filled piles. The work also includes demolition of the existing wood pile and concrete deck bridge, reconstruction of the intersection of Middle Fork Road and Banks Lowman Highway including installation of drainage, guardrails, MSE wall, base, asphalt concrete pavement, striping, signage and other smaller items of work.

Project length: 0.30 miles

Tentative Fixed Completion Date: October 24, 2013 (Once solicitation is issued, see FAR Clause 52.211-10 for exact date.)

Estimated Price Range: $3 million to $5 million

Location: 0.5 miles southwest of Crouch, Idaho
