About this file
This amendment to a solicitation and modification of contract provides changes to the Security System Design and Integration II contract opportunity. Key details include that the Federal Aviation Administration seeks to completely refresh security systems at staffed facilities, which may include replacing physical access control, surveillance, and perimeter intrusion detection systems. Offerors are no longer required to submit the subcontracts clause. The pre-solicitation for the follow-on contract to the incumbent, Versar Security Systems, LLC, anticipates an unrestricted competition with a size standard of $20.5 million according to NAICS code 561621 for security system services. The amendment answers final questions and updates the list of FAA support contractors.
