About this file

This is a design and technical documentation package for the Fixed-Cone Valve Replacement project at Bradbury Dam, a U.S. Bureau of Reclamation facility located in California. The project involves replacing existing fixed-cone valves at the dam's outlet works and associated infrastructure improvements.

The documentation includes comprehensive engineering drawings and specifications covering: location and vicinity maps showing the dam, spillway, and access routes; general plans depicting the outlet works facility layout with access from Highway 154 to the spillway; detailed sectional and elevation drawings of the control house, valve vault, and outlet works structures; mechanical specifications for valve supports, reducers, sole plates, and related equipment; electrical single-line diagrams showing power distribution from the engine/generator to various facility loads; wiring diagrams for dam tenders' houses and spillway control operations; conduit and grounding details for electrical installations; and supporting infrastructure plans including piping installations, venturi rings, lighting fixture details, and cable routing. The drawings are dated 2025-12-29 and generated using AutoCAD 25.0S. Additional documentation includes equipment lists identifying items to be removed and installed, parts specifications with quantities and reference drawings, and reference materials such as discharge curves, typical horseshoe tunnel sections, gate chamber details, and intake structure plans. The project scope encompasses civil, mechanical, and electrical work required to modernize the outlet works control systems while maintaining operational safety and structural integrity of the existing dam facility.
