About this file

This document is a Scope of Work (SOW) for a downsized battery replacement project for Eaton 9395 uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems, involving two power deployment sides (A and B). The project encompasses battery replacement for specific UPS units, including removing all existing batteries, preparing end-of-life (EOL) batteries for return shipping, and packaging associated wiring hardware. The A side involves four 275 kVA units, with battery replacements in two specific units (EN142BBA05 and EN142BBA06) and packaging of two idle units. The B side consists of two 550 kVA units, with battery replacement in one unit (EN191BBA05) and packaging of one idle unit.

The SOW requires turnkey pricing that includes a comprehensive "all-in" cost covering materials, unpacking, offloading, and repackaging of EOL batteries. Additional optional services include performing preventative maintenance on fans and capacitors and conducting official Eaton firmware updates to the most current stable release for the remaining in-service units. The proposal must incorporate 100% of freight costs both ways and include all associated costs for proper disposal of the removed batteries. Vendors are expected to provide a complete, comprehensive pricing package that covers all aspects of the battery replacement and disposal process.
