About this file
This is a Request for Quotation issued by the West Virginia Division of Corrections and Rehabilitation for the Pruntytown Correctional Center and Jail to procure interior doors as a one-time purchase. The solicitation calls for two types of fire-rated steel doors: 90-minute standard insulated fire-rated steel doors in 36-inch width (right-hand swing out, 77-1/4 inches high with 6-inch metal frames), and fire-rated steel double doors in 60-inch width consisting of two independent doors on the same frame with a 4-7/8-inch fixed frame. All doors must be primed grey, flush design, constructed of cold rolled steel with knock-down frames, and pre-drilled for lock sets and deadbolts. The specification document does not indicate item quantities, response deadlines, delivery completion dates, site visit requirements, or bidder conference information. Vendor selection will be based on the lowest overall total cost meeting all specified requirements, and the contract will be awarded to a single vendor.
Vendors must complete a pricing page with their best prices for the contract items and are responsible for F.O.B. destination delivery within seven calendar days of receiving a purchase order or notice to proceed. The Agency will handle installation, locks, and deadbolts. Payment will follow West Virginia state procedures. Vendors are required to notify the Agency of any delivery delays and may face contract cancellation or third-party procurement if delays cause harm. Unacceptable items will be returned at vendor expense with no restocking charge, and vendors must either replace items or provide full credit or refund at the Agency's discretion. Vendor defaults include failure to provide contract items meeting requirements, non-compliance with specifications or applicable laws, and failure to remedy deficient performance upon request, with remedies including immediate contract cancellation and cancellation of release orders.
