Question/Comment Optional Form 336 (Schedule B), does not have any 500X series CLINS. Is the reference to (CLINS 0001 through 5004) correct? CLIN 0001 is specifically for “Transition-In Period”, hence does not appear to be a NTE item. Please advise for cost purposes.
Government Response Not to Exceed (NTE) items are Construction, Rehabilitation and Acquisition (CRA), Equipment, Career Technical Skills Training (CTT) and Demonstration Projects which have Contract Line Item Numbers (CLIN). However, the NTEs are not proposed by the offeror. Transition-in and Transition-out are CLINs which are proposed by an offeror in the Business Management Proposal.
