About this file

This document is an amendment to a Request for Response (RFR) issued by the Executive Office of Health and Human Services (EOHHS) of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts for a Preferred Supplier of Durable Medical Equipment (DME) Incontinence Products. The key changes in this amendment are: 1) the proposal due date has been extended from May 1, 2017 to May 8, 2017; 2) the minimum product specifications have been revised to exclude HCPCS codes T4540, T4541, and T4542 from the requirements; and 3) the contract section on minimum product specifications has been updated to reflect the same exclusion. This RFR seeks to establish a "preferred wholesale distributor" arrangement with a single contractor to supply incontinence products that meet EOHHS's quality standards at a discounted rate to participating MassHealth DME Providers, including MassHealth Pharmacy Providers with a DME specialty.

The RFR does not provide details on pricing terms, set asides, incumbent suppliers, funding requirements or sources, or award amounts. It focuses on the product specifications, procurement process, and contract requirements for the selected preferred supplier.
