Stringing, splicing, sagging, and clipping in three spans of existing 1/2-inch-diameter, galvanized, high-strength steel, 7-strand overhead ground wire as described; and furnishing and installing material to complete the overhead ground wire installation, except for material furnished and installed as part of tension assemblies for overhead ground wires and accessories.
Performing all work to re-install any vibration dampers for 795 kcmil, ACCR, “Drake/3M” conductors and 1/2-inch diameter, galvanized, high-strength steel, 7-strand overhead ground wires in the two (2) spans at structures 13/1 to 13/2 and 13/3 to13/4. If only one (1) damper is currently in the span, one (1) damper should be located at the existing damper distance from the existing suspension structures. If two (2) dampers are currently located one (1) at each end of the span, then locate one (1) damper at the new structure and one (1) at the existing structure, at the existing damper distance. If two (2) dampers are currently in the same span, both at the same structure, locate both dampers at the existing damper distance from the suspension structures.
Bidding Schedule items “Furnishing and installing optical overhead ground wire assemblies” include furnishing material and performing work and tests to furnish and install optical overhead ground wire assemblies complete with suspension clamp or bolted dead end, suitable for 0.465-inch diameter, 48 fiber optical overhead ground wire, shown on drawing 41 1031. An estimate of material quantities for each type of structures is shown on drawing DAD-PAD 1 1005.
Optical overhead ground wire assemblies shall comply with the characteristics of Table 10-3.
