About this file
This document is an Amendment (No. 01) for a solicitation by the District of Columbia Courts for H. Carl Moultrie Courthouse Mechanical Room Heating Upgrades, identified as Solicitation No. DCSC-25-IFB-102. The amendment includes a comprehensive Question and Answers (Q&A) round providing critical project details. Key project specifics include core drilling slabs with an average thickness of 6.5", floor-to-ceiling heights of 16', and work that cannot be performed during normal working hours. The roof, installed in 2014, has a Firestone warranty, and the project involves relocating badge readers and security cameras, with infrastructure work by the General Contractor and end devices handled by a DC Courts vendor.
The proposal submission deadline is Friday, August 29, 2025, by 3:00 pm Eastern Standard Time. The amendment provides additional clarifications about project requirements, including staffing flexibility (part-time quality control supervisor and Site Safety and Health Officer are acceptable) and a time extension for subcontractor pricing. The document includes images of Courtroom CR400, showing the proposed flue location and room layout, with floor finishes identified as Shaw Focus Meditate. Prospective bidders are instructed to sign and attach a copy of the amendment to their proposal and are advised to check the DC Courts website daily for updates and amendments.
