Regional Harmonization to PVE in Coastal West Africa: Q and A

Question 1. Will USDOS consider applications that propose to work in some of the 4 countries (Ghana, Ivory Coast, Togo, Benin) of focus?

Response: Applicants are welcome to propose a model that they believe is best suited to meet the program goals and objectives. With that in mind, the Department of State aspires to engage all four countries (Ghana, Ivory Coast, Togo, Benin) and will prioritize proposals that do so.

Question 2. Can USDOS please confirm that the 6 communities should be identified during the project and not in the proposal?

Response: The 6 communities should be identified during the project.

Question 3. Must the communities identified include borders of all 4 countries? Or could the program identify the 6 communities in two of the four countries for greater impact?

Response: Applicants are welcome to propose a model that they believe is best suited to meet the program goals and objectives. With that in mind, the Department of State aspires for all four countries to be represented in the six communities and will prioritize proposals that do so.
